What a trial costs
For families new to Little Forest.
Both options are for one child. After a trial, the full price list is shared when you enquire, with no obligation.
The head-start nobody advertises
At eight months, a child is not learning letters. They are learning whether the world is a place worth reaching into – and they work that out by trying things with someone they trust sitting right there.
That is the whole job at this age. The counting, the sitting still, the confidence to walk into a room of strangers: all of it comes far more easily to a child who did the first part properly.
So you are in the room. Hands in the sand next to theirs, singing the song, being climbed on. One hour a week, no drilling, no worksheets – and quietly, week by week, a child who is ready for what comes next.

A natural mother-tongue foundation, picked up the way language is meant to be – through play, long before P1.
Sitting up is the only prerequisite. Mini Troopers is built for babies who are not walking yet.
Mornings, late afternoons and Saturday mornings, so one of them fits around work.

Which class fits your child
Both are adult-accompanied – one grown-up comes into the class with one child. Every class has an English and a Mandarin version, so you can choose the language as well as the age group.
Mini Troopers & Mini Mandarin
8 – 12 months · 1 hour- Monday 9.30 – 10.30am, in English
- Tuesday 9.30 – 10.30am, in Mandarin

Little Troopers & Little Mandarin
8 months – 3 years · 1 hour- Kovan – several slots Tuesday to Saturday, morning and late afternoon

- Kiztopia Prestige, New Bahru – Friday 10.30 – 11.15am, in English
- Art and craft one week, sensory play the next

- 1 adult to accompany 1 child in class only.
- Play time is 30 minutes after the end of class for 1 adult & 1 child only. Additional adult tickets to the play area may be purchased separately on-site.
Who can bring my child – does it have to be a parent?
Any one grown-up your child is comfortable with. Plenty of our regulars come with a grandparent or a helper. It is one adult to one child in the class itself.
My baby is 8 months and not walking. Is that too young?
No – that is exactly who Mini Troopers is for. The class is built around babies who are sitting, rolling and reaching rather than running.
Should we do English or Mandarin?
If Mandarin is the language you would like your child to be comfortable in later, starting now is far easier than starting at four. Many families do the English class one term and the Mandarin one the next. Tell us on the form and we will talk it through.
What if my child just wants to crawl off and do their own thing?
Then that is what they do. These classes are built around what a one-year-old is actually like, not around sitting in a circle for an hour.
What do we need to bring?
Socks for everyone entering the venue, anti-slip if you have them, and clothes you do not mind getting messy – yours included.
