🎂 Age-Related

My child is a certain age — which class is right for them?
We have programmes for every stage from 8 months to 5 years. The quickest way is to tell us your child's age on WhatsApp or the enquiry form, and we'll recommend the best fit. You can also see our full breakdown on the Programmes page.
My child is 8 months old — is Little Troopers / Little Mandarin suitable?

For 8 to 12 months old, you may consider Mini Troopers or Mini Mandarin if you prefer to have a class with children of a similar age group.

We also recommend joining the Little Troopers or Little Mandarin if you don't mind your child socialising with slightly older kids — such an arrangement offers different advantages to develop social skills with older children.

🧑‍🏫 Classes

What's the difference between the Troopers and Mandarin programmes?
Our Troopers programmes are conducted in English with a focus on Letterland phonics. Our Mandarin programmes are conducted in Mandarin with a focus on Chinese character recognition. Both have different activities each week — many parents join twice weekly, one of each.
If we join twice-weekly classes, are both days the same?
No — both classes will have different activities, so your child enjoys fresh, varied experiences each session.
Can you share the lesson plan or curriculum?
We're unable to share our full curriculum or lesson plans. However, our playgroup classes follow a theme every term, with a letter & word of the week. With each theme, your little one explores activities like Music & Movement, Arts & Crafts and Sensory play.
Can both parents accompany the child in class?
For adult-accompanied programmes, only one adult can accompany the child in class at all times. Switchovers are allowed from snack time onwards.
Why are switchovers only allowed from snack time onwards?
Opening the classroom doors as and when parents please disrupts the class, distracts the children, and may cause accidents. Limiting switchovers keeps every child safe and focused.

🌱 Trials & Bookings

How do I book a trial class?

It depends on the outlet:

For our Kovan and i12 Katong (Wan To Play) outlets, simply fill in the Book a Trial form or WhatsApp us at (65) 9191 4259 — we'll arrange everything for you on our own system.

For our New Bahru (Kiztopia Prestige) outlet, bookings are made through the GloFox app (see the next question for the steps). Advance booking (more than 12 hours) is required for all classes — we do not accept walk-ins.

How do I book a trial at the New Bahru (Kiztopia Prestige) outlet?

Booking at our Kovan and i12 Katong (Wan To Play) outlets doesn't require any app — just enquire via the Book a Trial form or WhatsApp and we'll facilitate it for you.

Which programmes are independent drop-off?
Forest Troopers (18 months – 3 years) and Explorers Club (2 – 5 years) are our independent drop-off programmes, designed to build your child's confidence and independence.

👋 Before Your First Visit

How long is a class?
Our adult-accompanied programmes run about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Our independent drop-off programmes (Forest Troopers & Explorers Club) run 1 to 2 hours. We'll confirm the exact timing for your child's class when you book.
What should we bring?
Just bring socks for everyone entering the venue (anti-slip socks are recommended) and a water bottle. A child's apron or bib is great for our art & craft and sensory play. For our youngest little ones, a change of clothes and any diapering essentials are handy — play can get joyfully messy!
What if my child cries or takes time to settle in?
That's completely normal, especially at the first session — our teachers are warm and experienced at gentle settling-in. For our drop-off programmes (Forest Troopers and Explorers Club), we ease children in at their own pace and will always reach you if your little one needs you.
Can I reschedule my trial?
Of course — we know plans change. Just message us on WhatsApp at least 12 hours before your class starts and we'll help you find another time.

👣 On the Day

Do we need socks?
Yes — for hygiene and safety, socks are required on our premises for both children and accompanying adults.
Where are you located?
We have three locations: Kovan, Kiztopia Prestige (New Bahru) and Wan To Play (i12 Katong). See full addresses on our Locations page.
